Your Face

Oh man.

So last November, I retardedly signed up for NaNoWriMo, which is a program wherein you attempt to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. I decided to write this cathartic thingy in which I regurgitated a story similar to a past relationship, and this was the result. Now, I thought that it was a horrible, lame story that has been told a zillion times and was nothing incredibly special, but today, I got this e-mail:

I was browsing the net, and by a fluke I happened upon your novel, Whatever. I just have to say that this was one of the most insightful things I've ever read. I really felt the character... (is she based on you or is she fictional?) I just wanted to say that you are very talented. I had a headache when I was finished from reading the whole thing on the internet, but I couldn't stop- it hooked me. I love it. Keep writing.

I love writing, as well... maybe we could keep in touch. I go by Stella on the net, and my AIM screenname is RzeznickChick, if you have it. I might get MSN soon, if you have that, and I probably already have Yahoo and am just too lazy to use it. Let me know which you use because I would really like to keep in touch with you!

Your Newest, Biggest Fan,

I think the coolest part of this is not the fact that she actually enjoyed the story, but she enjoyed it enough to call herself my "biggest fan". This, I find
