Nicole, you will probably have to pin it a bit at the waist, because it'll probably be a bit bunchy if you don't, but other than that it should be fine. I tried it on as best I could to see if it would stay up on it's own (something I was worried about), and it seems to be doing that fine. However, my hips are too large and so I can't tell if it's too short or not. Maybe I can convince Anne pronounced Ann to try it on, she's small.
I AM SO DAMN IMPRESSED WITH MYSELF.
This is the first major sewing project I've ever done, other than sewing up the seams in my Harry Potter scarves and this one skirt thing I did for a Rasputina concert. I did this whole dang thing FROM SCRATCH.
I DID NOT USE A PATTERN.
All I had was that picture and Nicole's measurements.
I AM FREAKING AWESOME.
(And also highly obsessive when it comes to making copies of things, ask the people who have my scarves and hate that they're to scale because they're so big.)
EVERYBODY EVER SHOULD COMMENT AND SAY CONGRATULATIONS EVEN IF YOU DON'T KNOW ME BECAUSE I'M THE COOLEST PERSON IN THE WORLD.
**EXTRA BONUS NOTE: I went to Wal-mart today to buy some red thread, and the only place they had Pepsi Blue was in a vending machine in a can, so I tried to get some because I love it THAT MUCH and I am also growing very lax about that can thing even though I shouldn't, and before I could even PRESS THE BUTTON, it gave me a wild cherry pepsi. So I put in a dollar, and before I could press ANY buttons, it gave me TWO WILD CHERRY PEPSIS. So I gave two of said pepsis to people who were standing around, and one of them gave me 70 cents to try again. This resulted in two more wild cherry pepsis, and NO pepsi BLUES. WHY DOES GOD HATE ME SO MUCH??? IS HE JEALOUS OF MY MAD SEWING WITHOUT PATTERN SKIZZLES?????? BECAUSE HE SHOULD BE!!!!!!
In conclusion, I want a pepsi blue.
