So some lady behind me flipped me off for stopping at a yellow light instead of speeding through it, which I thought was just so super sweet. What I really, really, really wanted to do was pull up next to her, roll down my window and say, "I'm sorry, did you just flip me off for obeying a recognized traffic law?" But I didn't have the opportunity. So instead, I decided to piss her off as much as I could during the rest of her time behind me. She tried to pass me, so I sped way up. By the time I got to my left turn, it turns out she was taking the same one, and she had to get in line behind me, so I waited a little longer than I really needed to as the rest of the cars past through my green yield light, and went the exact speed limit on the one lane road that followed. Then, when I went to take my right turn, I came to a complete stop, looked both ways, checked the time, and then went.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Don't flip people off on the road for obeying the law. Or they may give you a good reason to.
