Oh man you guys, the Breaking Dawn book release was freaking amazing. I forgot to bring chapters of Xlormp to hand out, but that only distressed me a little bit. The BCP performed probably their best show ever, and it was extra fun because we were wearing our homemade "Team BCP" shirts (there are pictures of this somewhere). gutterballjen was late, but she made it in time for the second set, and we requested they play "Sexy Vampire" even though they'd played it in their first set, since Jeni wasn't there. They said, "Okay, sure, since Team Tori wasn't here!"

THESE GIRLS ARE SO NICE AND ADORABLE. I want to take them out and buy them each a pie. If they don't like pie then they can have ice cream instead, IT DOESN'T MATTER. I cannot stop listening to their cd, it almost make the books seem interesting (until you actually read them).

Also, the theme was prom, so in between their sets, there was a legit-ass DJ spinning awesome tunes. It was quite entertaining to hear what kids these days are listening to, even though I knew most of the songs. They played the Cha Cha Slide. Guys, I got to do the Cha Cha Slide in a BOOKSTORE (there is video of this somewhere).

A good time was had by all, and afterwards we went to IHop and were mistaken for Twilight fans, and also saw a girl with a copy of the book, so we discovered that the leaked chapters were actually real and did a little "HAHA" to ourselves.

On Saturday, syntheticjesso spent pretty much the entire morning gloating over the crappy Amazon ratings Breaking Dawn was getting, and then we read the first chapter of Midnight Sun, Twilight from Edward's perspective. Let me tell you, this book is A LOT more interesting if you add the word "tentacle" to the end of each page.

Speaking of tentacles, xlormp is up to Chapter 6 if you're not already reading it.

Other things that happened this weekend: We had our swim team party, and I found out the program director at my YMCA resigned (A GOOD THING); My car battery died and I had to get a new one (A LESS GOOD THING); Fraher got some unfortunate news and had to take off on a plane this morning (EVEN WORSE NEWS). So I am tired and bummed from me and Jessie dropping him off at the airport this morning. HE'LL BE BACK WEDNESDAY, THOUGH.
