Well, livejournal apologized. I came in a little late on the whole Strikethrough '07 thing (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, it's explained in the news post), but it panicked the crap out of me. Not because I was in fear for my journal's life or anything, but because of my intense streak of Hufflepuff loyalty, I don't think I could leave if it came down to it.

I read through pages and pages of comments filled with rage and fury, saying "I'm not renewing my paid account, I'm not buying a permanent account," etc. But I LOVE my lj, I've had it for seven years, and for the most part, I can't stand most other blogs just because I'm so used to lj. I get stuck in my ways, I'm a Taurus, I can't help it. And I'm stuck on livejournal.

And I'm a wuss. Although I thought it was cool that everyone was banding together singing the "Raise the Colors" song from Pirates. :) I could hear all these hordes of lj users around their monitors yelling, "Yo ho, all together..." it was kinda cool in a nerdy way and WHAT IS LJ IF NOT NERDY LOVE???

Anyway. Life. Swim team is going to be looooooong, especially if Program Director keeps sitting in on practices. Apparently I'm not officially hired yet, because the aquatics director still need something from me and keeps trying to call. I told him what I told her: My phone's not working properly AND it's turned off at work. If it's something important, E-MAIL ME. I hoped she'd remember this but apparently she hasn't, so I have to waste my lunch break figuring out what the crap she wants.

OH AND ALSO: I GOT A NEW PHONE. (SAME PHONE NUMBER.) PLEASE TO BE INNUNDATING ME WITH TEXT MESSAGES.

Today in my lj history!

2006:
I thought the Millis' were going to swim last year but it was a DIRTY LIE.
