I can't remember if I posted about giving up sugar or junk food. My
goal is to eventually not crave it like a ravenous beast every second
of the day, and be able to partake of it on special occasions in the
company of friends, somewhat like a casual drinker. Except I'd be a
casual sugar/junk food eater.
Anywhoosle, it's Day 4 of No Sugar or Junk Food, and so far so good!
Day 2 was the worst because I REALLY wanted candy, but I ate a
fuckload of fruit, and everything seemed to be okay.
I've been COOKING. It's very exciting, because I never do that!
Other than Ramen or Mac & Cheese. Which I can't have because they
both fall under the very broad "junk food" spectrum.
I'm teaching myself to like eating vegetables, too! So far I've
learned to enjoy bell peppers and onions. Good on me.

It looks like this semeseter I'll finally be going back to school!
WHOOT. Went up to UTA yesterday and they said my application had been
accepted, and they handed me the stuff I needed to pick up a student
loan. I am vastly unenthused about the "loan" portion of the
proceedings, but as long as I don't let it get too out of hand, I
think going back to school is worth it. I need to go get advised on
Monday, then register for classes, then it's all downhill from there.
I hope. The only sucky thing is I'm going to HAVE to take night
classes, due to working full time. Which means I'll have
approximately NO free time whatsoever. At all. But I need to get a
freaking degree or I will never forgive myself, so it'll hopefully be
THAT IS ALL, LIVEJOURNAL! I HOPE YOU ARE ALL HAVING A WONDERFUL DAY.
