HOLY CANOLIES, I DO NOT WANT TO BE AT WORK TODAY. The weekend was so nice and weekendy, I did not want it to end! Or perhaps I did so much crap that I didn't do a lot of resting and rejuvenating and so I am tired.

ALSO, last night, I was having trouble sleeping for some reason! I don't know why. My bed is teh comfixors. I was supar sleepy. AND YET. I KEPT WAKING UP. NOT FAIR, BODY, NOT FAIR.

*Naps and God musicals!
*Hung out with a buddy from high school!
*Went to a partay!
*Easter crap!

But anyways! I got off work early on Friday and took a HELLA NAP. It wasn't what I intended to do, I intended to do lotsa editing on my novel, but I got home and said, "I just want to go back to bed." SO I DID. HOORAY FOR SLEEPS. (You hear that, body? HOORAY for sleeps. HOORAY. TRY HARDER THIS EVENING.) Then I went to hang out with auracel in her SHINY NEW APARTMENT (it is so pretty. SO PRETTY) and we accidentally celebrated Good Friday. We'd been meaning to get together and watch Godspell (one of my favorite movies) and Jesus Christ Superstar (one of hers), and we decided to do it that evening since she would be all moved in. And then halfway through Godspell, I said, "You know, these movies are pretty appropriate considering what day it is." Neither of us are terribly religious folk, so it was kind of hilarious.

SATURDAYS, I went and hung out with Heather, a friend of mine from high school. I haven't seen her in a GAZILLION YEARS. Her belly is full of BABY. Very strange! She is the first of my high school friends I have hung out with since then to get preggers. Apparently, my friend Kelly has a three-year-old son, but I haven't seen her since graduation so SHE DOESN'T COUNT. We ate foods together and caught up and ran into ANOTHER friend from high school I haven't seen in forever who also happened to be eating at IHop so THAT WAS VERY INTERESTING.

And at the end of our visit? WE PLAYED MAGIC. Man, I have always wanted to play Magic? But no one will ever play with me (and then, I got so used to no one playing with me that I forgot to ask people if they'd be interested in playing with me). And the two or three people that WOULD play with me were so hardcore good at it that they wouldn't explain anything and kicked my ass very soundly into the ground. So it was interesting getting to play with Heather (who still kicked my ass very soundly, but was very polite about it ;) since I remembered practically nothing, and she was recalling things little by little. We spent most of the games going, "Uhhhhhhhh...I think we to this now."

THAT EVENING, I dragged auracel along to go hang out with the always awesome anneliese who was celebrating her BIRTHDAY (that is the day she was born in case you weren't sure). She knows how to treat a girl right, celebrating her natal day with a game of 1000 Blank White Cards, her "Best of 2001" playlist, and youtube videos. There were drinks for all the drunkards, but I stuck to coke & water. MUCH FUN WAS HAD BY ALL.

Then on SUNDAY (Sheesh, SO MUCH HAPPENINGZ), we celebrated Easter with Jessie's girls. We hid eggs in the living room. I forgot that while I hate hunting for them, I love HIDING eggs! I used to do it for my mom's daycare kids back in the day. I like to hide them in plain sight by hiding the eggs near objects of similar color. I hid one in the open computer box, and I was proud of Sabrina (the littlest one) because she found that one before her sisters did. Then that EVENING, I went and ate dinner with my parents & little sister. MMMMMMM PIZZA. Pepperoni and pineapple SO TRUMPS Canadian bacon and pineapple.

PS: TEH LJ STRIKE: (IF YOU'RE CURIOUS:) It was pretty interesting! Since it was a halfday at work on Friday and I had Facebook to occupy me, it was not so bad (but it was still tough)! I was a little surprised by all the haters, but I didn't really care. I felt like I did my part, and so it was worth it for me, and that was the whole point (for me, anyway!).
