Man, I'm really grateful that I got my voter's registration card, because I actually really care about the issue being voted on today. Like, a lot. A LOT, a lot, a lot. 99.99% of the time, I dont have strong feelings one way or another toward an issue being voted on. Or, I don't know enough about a particular politician to give them my full support. Usually, I just don't have the time and energy required to cast what I feel would be a fully informed vote.
But the fact that I have the means to vote on this issue today has shown me that I should probably not get rid of my voters registration card, even though I don't usually vote. I'd like to have it on hand in case an issue I really care about pops up, so that I'll be able to vote on it.
